What lives in NodeMeta
Every node carries system data, which a NodeMeta Meta { get; } member reads. Never create or
assign a NodeMeta yourself. Change the writable fields with UpdateMeta
(Writing meta), and the address and display name with UpdateAddress and
UpdateDisplayName.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
Id, InternalId |
The public Guid id and the internal int id. |
NodeTypeId |
The id of the node's type. |
CreatedUtc, ChangedUtc |
When the node was created, and when its values last changed. |
DisplayName, Address |
The display name set with UpdateDisplayName, and the address. |
CultureId |
The culture of this revision. |
RevisionId, RevisionType |
The revision read, and its type: Published, Preliminary (a draft), Archived, … |
CollectionId |
The collection the node is in. |
ReadAccess, EditAccess, EditViewAccess, PublishAccess |
The user group given each kind of access. |
CreatedBy, ChangedBy |
User ids, when the application writes them. |
ReleaseUtc, ExpireUtc |
Scheduled publishing. |
Deleted |
The soft-delete flag. |
ChangedUtc moves with every write that changes the node's values. A meta write, or a write that
changes nothing, leaves it alone. An insert keeps a change time it is given, as an import needs.
